Leaky interior Legacy wagon

I have a 95 legacy wagon. Everytime it rains, which has been everyday for the last 2 frickin months here in Portland, I wake up to a small pubble on the drivers side floor.
Someone suggested to clean the window rubber really well, that over time that seal gets dirty and lets water trickle in.
Is it the rubber? They also told me this is a "common" problem on this car.

Any thoughts are much appreciated. Expected 2" of rain by tomorrow!!
