I always like to store my engines on pallets in my yard under a tarp.

I wonder if his garage is full of pink flamingos and other yard goodies.

The rust is where you pick up the HP. Oxidation, is good for anywhere from 40-60hp depending on the rate.

I'd ask for a pn on that ecu. The Liberty RS ecus had 220hp stock. But that might have been with the ej20g, I'm not entirely certain right now.
Why not get it anyway? Our blocks are getting expensive. . .

I just got a response to my question "What mods have you done to it to get it up to 220hp, stock is only 160"

Reply:

"intake, down pipe,3 inch exhuast might have rounded up a little"

I'm an optimist at heart, but theres no way a bit of breathing room is going to free up 60hp.

220 PS is liberty with 5mt. another way to tell is what color the AWIC is, but I forget if black or silver is 220ps.

"how do you like your 220hp?"

I like it, although I've gone past 220hp now but back when I was running the VF11 it felt nice. Thanks for asking!

 I did that not to long ago, and came up with something like 1367 hp. I don't think that counts.
