The three SVC's will be wired to produce a 1.34 ohm load.
Running with different ohm loads to different "sets" of subs will change the amount of power to each. The "set" with a lower ohm load will have more power running to it. The "set" with a higher ohm load will run more effiecently, with less power to it. Adjusting the gains is not the way to fix this.

I'm sure you can throw all this in, and make it sound alright, or even loud, but you'd be in the category of "jerry" rigging it. It's like putting different brands of tires front to back on your AWD. Even though they SAY they're the same size, and you can put them on and drive with everything seeming to be OK, how do you think your center diff would like it being a little off?
quite right, thats why i would suggest setting them with an oscillascope (i know not everyone can get their hands on one but they are amazing tools) to get them as close as you can. your

box is looking good, keep posting pictures. your getting me all excited to get my stuff in :-D, i ran my wirring when i got the car (0 awg a lil over kill but just incase i get a bigger amp and alt) but its been too cold here to fiberglass and the shop doesnt have enough ventilation. thinking of putting my tweets in those little push out plugs on the corners of the dash and staging them towards the glass and ultimatly reflecting to the mirror. anyone here done this yet?

I like to install my tweeters behind the rearview mirror so it bounces off the glass and you get that "where is that coming from" sound.

I've been doing that since....the fishman Rivera. Anybody remember him??

well I'm back in the thread, still havent found any sources but I have some time to elaborate a bit. I actually worked with David for a few months when I was at Richies car tunes in Boston. Strange guy but he does some pretty cool stuff. not sure what hes up to now, last I heard he was in florida making crazy golf carts for basketball players lol. Anyway I'm definately not bragging or name dropping, I'm just saying. As far as this thread goes, when I said it wont work that is my way of saying that if its not done the right way every other way is wrong. Thats just me, I'm a perfectionist. No offence subawhatsubawho but 6 12inch subs is a difficult feat to accomplish correctly. I didn't get into the DVC and SVC arguement simply for the fact that knowing that you have 6 speakers and two amps means your left with 2 pairs of 3. that being said, you would have one set of svc's and one set of dvc's, most dvc's are dual 4ohm coils with the exception of the jl6's and some a/d/s's which have 3 ohm coils. You said it all when you described how they would be wired. When you do a "wall" of subs they must act as one. I'm curious as to why you would even want 6 12's. Is is the coolness factor? I could garuntee you a better sounding enclosure with 4 subs. I'm sorry to say but your plan is flawed from it conseption but your screwed if you already have 3 of each type of sub and two different amps. Its just bad. you cant have different subs, different resistances, different sources (amps obviously, not head units). Its just a train wreck, sorry to say. I mean, you will get bass out of it and it will probably be good enough for you but its not even close to being right. So thats it, its my opinion, take it with a grain of salt. I'd rather not even comment on bose. with regard to spl systems I have a couple of trophies in 0-500 watt pro class and unlimitted pro class. this was with 4 10's.

Too late...check the picture thread...Whats done is done. It hit hard enough to have people call the cops on me the firts few minutes of playing them...works for me!

I do appreciate the advice. I think I might build a box for just my (3) DVC's in my 90 BJ and put the SVC's in my 91 BJ.
