sparks is good when you're doing freight at schucks.

I prefer vodka and rockstar, but it's good stuff. Fucks you up a little much though if you're not careful. Nick and I had a deep meaningful conversation until like 4am one night whilst drinking vodka and rockstar.

I drank like 3/4's of the bottle of parrot bay and was unable to get buzzed last night. Then I gave some to my younger brother who has never been drunk and he didn't get buzzed.

I want my money back.

I was coming home and drinking about 5-6 beers a night (new castle). I did this for a while although the number increased slightly over time, used to be 2-3 a night. What I thought was just a way to relax after a tough day at work was actually a more serious problem. Dont get me wrong, I'm not about to preach to anyone. What i'm saying is that I think I cought my problem before it got out of hand. Me being miserable at work and with my life was making very anxious and feel very stressed out as some of you may know from my "what does an anxiety attack feel like?". What I thought to be a relaxer at the end of the day was actually hurting me because alchohol is a depressant. I would drink to cope with my stress and anxiety and it would only make me depressed about my current situation and left me feeling like shit about my situation. So, the drinking was not helping the root cause of the stress and anxiety it was only masking it with depression. I came to realize that I had a problem when I could not fit one weeks worth of beer bottles in the recycle bin. I decided to stop drinking after work (and on my lunch break), and stick to social drinking on the weekends if it came up. I also decided to fix the main problem in my life which is my job. Its amazing how much free time you have when your not sitting around drinking. I was able to update my resume and get it out there. I have an interview tomorrow morning with a great company and hopefully they will make me an offer. I guess what I'm saying is that dont let drinking mask your problems and if you are drinking everyday you do have a problem. dont kid yourself any longer. This is just tough love guys, dont hate ok.

Nico, nico, nico. . . *sigh*

Any alcohol that can be used in your car is not, in fact, an alcohol. Its a ketone. This would include acetone and tolulene.

I'm glad you feel that booze-free is the way to be. Most 13 year olds do, for now.

Ha, well. . . No one's chimed in on the herbal yet?
:D

I unwind with a toke or two in the morning, while I shower. I've learned much about myself, being so introspective. I write it all down, and later, I turn it into music. Maybe one day a career will come from it. :-/

At any rate, we're all addicts. Everyone's got their "thing". Some drink, some pop pills, some of us do yoga, too. (Though they'll never admit it out loud.) But its all about the 'why'. --Why do you do what you do?

Oh - you asked why, didn't you?

And I say unto thee, "why not?" :-D

Ah, if only we had Canada's relaxed laws...

Seriously though. Nothing else helps put the blinders on so well; tunnel vision helps get the work at hand done without allowing outside influences and frustrations to sidetrack you. And no matter what's bothering you... it won't be when you're done. :-D

I think that topic:

A) deserves a thread separate from this alcohol induced one

B) is something I'll have to join in on when I'm not at work :)
