Today is worse than over the week end.

friday I found out one of my friends is in jail with $5k bail...
saturday I went and installed my new whiteline flat out wrx steering rack bushings on the xt6
on the way home my legacy shat itself (see "thermostat stuck?" post in misc forum..)
sunday one of my other friends got hauled to the psyciatric center by the police because he was trying to kill himself, and his friends, with a gun (50 some year old guy.. just flipped his lid..)
also on sunday I attempted to cob together the legacy so I could get to work today... didn't work, still won't hold coolant...
so I went to my friend's house (the one that got hauled away by the cops to the psych. center..) and took his car.. hopefully I'll have the legacy back up and running before he gets out

Got the motor mounts in the wagon finally. Worked some. Read about my older crack-addict cousin on the front page of the local paper getting arrested for stealing a small refrigerator. The police followed the trail of lasagna to his apartment from which he's soon to be evicted. At one time he was a great guy. I remember having a good time playing with him when I was a kid. My prick father showed him how to smoke pot when he was 11 and here he is now ... at 38, slowly killing himself. Guess I'm lucky I never 'got' the drug thing.
