Hi All,
Picked up a Legacy GT Estate today. The battery was knackered so I have just had it replaced. The Display for the Heater/AC is now not working? was working before? any idea what could b causing this?
Also when starting 'POWER' is flickering up on the dash display temporarily -then going out after approx 4 secs.
Many more questions coming later - i need to know what all the buttons do!!
Many thx for any help in advance.
cheers Huggins

Legacy GT Estate... one of the new ones?
Well, I'm out of my area of knowledge here... I didn't even know your car had a display for the heater and A/C. Please to elaborate
The "Power" light will usually do that when starting the car (if you've got an automatic), at least it does on my '92 Legacy.

The A/C System he describes was a rare option here in the states.
The two fuse boxes are on the inside of the driver's side door (like a kick panel) and under the hood on the same side of the driver.
From what you describe, I think it's a fuse. As for which one? Well, I don't know.
For the power light: As long as it goes on for a short period of time and goes off, you're okay. If it blinks fast, you've got issues.
