Quick question: Stock hoodscoop removal...

Post by Imprezive »

I just found a stock wrx hoodscoop, I'd like to put it on when I repaint the car. I wasnt sure how it would look, so I tried taking the stock scoop off but I couldnt, how the heck do I do it? I tried to take off the bolts, but They just turned. Is there some kind of technique???

Take a vice grip, and grab the bottom end of the bolt, then use a wrench to loosen the nut.

When you get the scoop out, take the bolts out, and epoxy them into the scoop.

didnt work, it just broke the little tip of the bolt off, I sprayed them with PB Blaster, hopefully that will help break them loose
