In my slow but steady conversion to full EJ20G engine management I came across this. In connector B56 pin # 11 is the "Jurisdiction ID" I have no idea what it is, but when I compared the pinout to an ej20g one, I found nothing in this pin's position nor anything similar to this name. I read in another post that it has something to do with switching between California mode and non-California mode, but whats that all about? Can I just pull it out?
I'm also at a loss to what to do with the TI Monitor and MIL . I'm pretty sure the MIL is the check engine light since that is what is in its position on the Ej20g pinout. Also, my Ej20g ECU has no pin going to F47 pin # 18 (TI monitor) so I am guessing I can just pull it and tape it right?
Can anyone confirm my thoughts? I can't go through with this swap until I know everything is exactly how it should be.

Yeah, that's what one would assume. I haven't seen any documentation about what actually changes, though. Certainly peak performance numbers don't, and EPA mileage estimates seem to be the same.
I would say to just disregard it as you do your conversion. The EJ20G ECU won't get mad that that pin is grounded.
