sun roof stuck open

hi all. ive got a problem. my sun roof is open and it wont close.

i searched this some and got some idea's but the problem still remains. the click sound is there when i hit the button. i took the switch panel off and it looked ok.

i heard that i can manuely close the sun roof is that true?

Open the center console/arm rest. Under the lid is an allen key shaped like a crank. Pop off the plastic hole plug in the center of the headliner and insert the allen key. Manually crank the roof closed. This info is in your owner's manual.

My sunroof doesn't work sometimes. I cranked it closed manually the first couple times then I discovered that if I place my hand against the dome light and gently but firmly push up, while holding the sunroof close button, it usually will work normally. It seems I have to do this once every 6 to 8 weeks, then it works fine for a while. Probably a loose connection or oxidized ground wire or something.

If it clicks with switch, then while pressing switch to close, take fist, give a medium-hard hit up near the dome light. .....trick works whenver mine sticks shut or sticks open. Something in the motor

its closed yes! the manuel crank worked.
