Auto seatbelts not working

Post by subytech »

Does anyone know where the auto seatbelt control module is, nobody at work seems to be able to remember the early 90s, and all they can tell me is that its in the back somewhere? Also anyone know of any common problems with the auto sholder belts? Its getting really annoying to have to latch the sholder belt in every time i get in the car.

The coating on the cable on mine got partially stripped, which caused my seatbelt to get jammed and the cable would come out of the track. I just wound it back to the locked position and unplugged the motor which is at the bottom of the b pillar.

I just duck under it when I get into the car.

If you end up needing a new module, I have one kicking around that I don't need.
