Aftermarket ECU for a BC Legacy?

Post by Gdev »

Does anyone know of a good aftermarket ECU for a 93 BC Legacy?
Or if an ECU for a 02-05 WRX will work?

There really isn't any first gen legacy specific aftermarket ECU's. There's always piggy backs and stand alones.

There's several threads covering various stuff people have tried. I'd suggest searching and read over that.

As for the WRX ECU's, they will not work.

If by aftermarket you mean stand-alone you should look for Autronic among others...

Stand-alone means you must hook up the type of sensors the new ECU requires and need tuning basically to get the car running right. But with tuning you can release all the hp potential of any bolt on mods.
