Lemme see those fogs.

Post by IronMonkeyL255 »

I am trying to get some ideas for my own foglights, so post 'em if you got 'em. Specifically, I am looking for pics of the mounting solutions you guys have come up with.

Specifically, I was considering either Hella 500's in clear fog or Hella 450's in clear fog.

The 500's would look awesome, but I am hesitant that they won't fit very well. Specifically, they would stick out a bit past the bumper.

The 450's would take a bit more work to mount, but I was thinking of recessing them into the space where the turn signals were. They are almost perfectly the right size for that, according to my crude template-making. My only concern with this route is that in their recessed position, they will interfere with my future FMIC piping options.

Wow. Nobody at all? That's kinda surprising.......

Oh, well. Guess I'll have to figure something out.

That's mine. They're just cheap fogs I got on ebay. They're pretty bright though.

Looking good guys.

BMX, those are some sick pics with the wrx.

I think I may end up taking my bumper cover off and welding a bracket or mounting point to the bumper beam.

I think I have decided on Hella 450's with amber lenses.

Old pictures at the link below. I have since made new brackets. They're evenly spaced and wider now. I just don't have current pictures...
