90-91 VS 92-94 Body parts

Post by Threshld1 »

Hey guys looking for some confirmation if doors are the same between 90-91's and 92-94's. I have a source on very cheap correct colored doors from a 90 wagon i would like to swap to my 93. Am i going to have any issues swapping door cards?
Anyone have any input?
Thanks

The doors are the same. In order to swap out the ugly grey 90-91 Legacy door cards to your 93 ones, you will need to undo about 10 Plastic clips around the outside of the door panel. They just pop straight out. Be careful though, the old plastic tends to be brittle and break. Then you will have to unclip your Power window wires. Easy as that!

Don't forget the 2 screws holding the top and bottom of the handle on there. The upper one is at the top of the handle, while the bottom one is behind the door card accessible through a little plastic cover.

Ah yes, thanks for the tips, door cards were no problem ive pulled them too many times to count. Just wasnt sure if there were any changes to them w/ the facelift. The doors i got were from a wagon and i should mention if anyone gets wagon doors for a sedan make sure you swap the rear glass as they are ever so slightly different. Ill post pics when im done with work.
