I didnt do much searching, sorry for being lazy. But how involved is this job?
I assume heater cores from 90-91 are the same as 92-94, or at least I hope they are.

I do believe they are the same. Your going to have to remove the entire dash to do it. Its not exactly fun... but its not too bad. I ran mine all summer with the feed lines connected to each other bypassing the core so i could drive, but once winter came around it was intolerable.
Start by removing all the knee panels, center counsel, gauge trim, gauge pod, glove box, steering column covers etc. If i remember correctly there are 3 bolts on top by the windshield under pop-off covers, and ~4-6 bolts on the bottom side. Your going to have to either remove the steering wheel or remove the 2 bolts holding the column to the frame and lower it so the dash can clear it.
Im pretty sure there is one connector on the passanger side and 4 on the drivers side to disconnect the dash harness from everything else but you can leave it all in the dash and take it out as one piece.
I have some pictures from when i did mine here
Let me know if you want higher res pics to see things better, i have them saved somewhere.
Hope this helps and best of luck with prolly the worst repair ive had to do on this car yet

Great, thanks for the help. I cant view the pictures from work but when i get home i'll take a look at them to see what im getting into.
Right now I have the supply and return line connectted to eachother to bypass the core. Summers in california dont need the heater core, but I wanna do this job before winter. I have a 91 parts car im going to use for a 5spd swap, so i will use the heater core from that as well. Looks like a pretty involved job.
