Post by jason grahn »

I'm trying to get a friend of mine that work at a Lube shop to *ahem*
acquire *ahem* some oil for me to test... Cooking, freezing.. All that
stuff. Castrol Syntec, Mobil 1, Valvoline, Quaker State, i'm gunna cook a
quart of each and freeze a quart of each and see which one comes up better.
=)

maybe after i'm done i can post my super-non-scientific findings somewheres?

J.

oil oil and more oil

Post by Josh Colombo »

hey....I tried to do this...my senior year in high school...like 4 years
ago....the heating really didn't work too well. I started heating the
oil....and well it started smoking....and rather than havin a bon fire,
(which my teacher would NOT have liked) I stopped, and abandoned the whole
thing.....

Hope you're more successful than I was...be interesting to see what you find
out.

Josh
