Subaru Part Numbers

[m2j97@excite.com]

Is there an online database somewhere for subaru part numbers? I'm
trying to order stuff from subaruparts.com and the website asks for
part numbers (i tried the parts quote e-mail thing, but they just
reply and tell you to get the part numbers from the dealer and then
use the automated ordering method).

Specifically I'm looking for:
Canister Purge Solenoid Valve
Factory service Manual


I have a 1990 Subaru Legacy L+4WD

14774AA350 for the CPC just in case you didn't get it yet. But I
agree with Jason. Just call a Sube dealer with any questions similar
to this. They have all the updated books and such and are usually the
best source to go from.

I own a 2001 Forester. I work at Troncalli Subaru in
Roswell, Ga. I sell alot of parts on the i-club in the
vendor section under the name sugar. I mostly sell
Impreza parts, but I am looking to sell Legacy parts
as well. I don't know if there are any performance
parts available for the Legacys that people are
looking for. Are there any parts you or anyone is
looking for? I do work at a dealer and supply good
prices along with free shipping in the continental
U.S.
If anyone needs any parts, don't hesitate to ask, I

I am interested in how you may be able to help source good information and
parts for Japanese models... specifically a 97 Legacy GTB. Do you have the
parts manuals for these? ...locally (in New Zealand) the manual is only
available on a FHI supplied PC with the database already installed.

I can't find the Vendor section on I-Club... is that Members only?

Guys, before this gets out of hand, if you have any part inquiries,
please e-mail Lisa privately. She works for a US Subaru Dealer so
anything you need for your US spec BC-BF Legacys, I'm sure she can
get for you and give you a great price. I'm not saying that if there
is a disagreement on some kind of part number or you want to know
what year something changed, you can't post a message here, because
1. It will help others, and 2. Lisa's expertise is greatly
appreciated here. But there is no need to conduct normal business
practices on a public mailing list.

Lisa, if your place has a website, you are more then welcome to put
it in the links section or even just post your e-mail and/or phone
number there so you can be easily contacted if someone wants to get a
hold of you.

Hmmm... interesting... in the USA too. I hear that the entire Subaru spare
parts distribution system is working toward centralisation via a secure web
site for their franchaises... so I guess eventually there will be no paper
or software manuals.
