When do I need to get new Fuel pump and FPR??

When do I need to get new Fuel pump and FPR??
Im adding a 06 WRX IC, Manual Boost controller, and A fuel cut off defender.Stock turbo I hope to run 12spi and Im Denver so Elevation is a factor. Im wondering if I should and to be on the safer side should I get a Fuel pressure regulator and/or a new fuel pump. if so What brand FPR?

A feul pump is always good measure, but maybe not neccesary if you're staying with stock injectors and turbo.
As far as a FPR goes, if you don't have a way to meter and adjust fuel, (ie, wideband + piggyback or standalone) you can goof things up pretty easily. The factory ECU goes off of a know fuel pressure, and if you change it, adjusting for it may be out of the scope of the ECU's capability.

I would only change the fuel pump if you know that it's got issues. A stock Legacy Turbo pump outflows a stock WRX or STi pump. That's just how they did it back then...
