he sold the complete drivetrain to is mecanic (to sell in parts)
he installed a Manual WRX engine into is 91 legacy, the perfect Sleeper !!
they are currently finishing the swap, can't wait to see that running

The stock EJ22t should be able to handle 20 PSI with proper engine management. Im assuming this was the result of some heavy detonation or pre-ignition knock? no intercooler? just curious where the engine was at when it blew.
