My 92 USA Legacy Turbo has the bigger (Mitsubishi) turbo off a Japanese Market EJ20G. The flange is the same, but I believe that it sits at a slightly different angle. The compressor outlet (air to be combusted) on my bigger turbo aims straight across the engine at the horizontal, where my stock turbo aimed up at about a 45 degree angle. The stock outlet angle is a lot handier.
