Photoshop. The C-pillar in the window shows it if the undefined lines, shadows, and splotched paint don't. For any kind of useful seat travel, you'd need a longer cockpit section, too. Wouldn't end up in a real long bed. About 5', I think unless you really tried to squeeze the cockpit. I looked into this since for my books since a truck would be too ordinary for my character's shop vehicle. Settled on a much more practical side-loader hearse with a sliding platform for heavy items.

Practical, yeah. And common, too. Like an f150.evolutionmovement wrote:Settled on a much more practical side-loader hearse with a sliding platform for heavy items.

Reminds me of the pre-facelift wagon I've seen a couple times that was hacked into a pickup. It even had XT hood emblems on the B pillars. Wish I could see it again and try to buy it. Could use a new parts runner, cause I doubt an EJ22T would fit in an XT trunk

You can fit an engine in the back of a wagon without chopping the roof. Easily.

I'm sure it would fit, I had one in my Trooper last weekend, was just a bitch to get up in there with it being enclosed. I kinda liked that hacked Legacy I saw though, maybe get it cheap as nobody else would want it, except probably the guy who made it. Not saying I would hack it myself though.

I used a short chain on an engine crane and just found the right angle to wheel it under the car. Just had to push it inwards a little to drop it on a wood cradle. I suppose you could fit two with the seats down, but a rolling caddie would be real nice. What I liked was that the engine's so light that it barely compressed the suspension and didn't affect the handling.
