TruboXS DTEC fc?

Post by beatersubi »

Researching EM options I'm looking at this as a possible. There are a few factors that make it look good:
1) Decently priced
2) Looks modular (can add to it w/ boost controller, wideband, etc. as money becomes available)
3) Interfaced w/ gameboy (I don't have a laptop)

Does anyone here have any experience with this system? And if so, how does it work for you/how do you like it?

edit: 4) and they have a sense of humor:

Well, I have one on the way for my "not exactly running & on the road yet" car. I did a ton of research after getting a fair amount of people (including Phil aka: BAC5.2) recommending that I use this for my car. Check out the tuning/EM section of NASIOC. If you do a search in that section for DTEC, you'll find a ton of happy people who nothing but great things to say about it and TurboXS' technical/customer support.

I just signed up on nasioc. I'd been trying to avoid that, but what the hell...
Well keep us updated on how the install/tuning and overall product quality is with your car.

Also drop PacmanSTI a line too. He ran the DTEC on his (Phil's old car) and had good results with it.

After further searching I learned some about that car. Sweet car. Sad story. Does anyone know if hes still around(the bbs)?

Every now & then. I think his job keeps him away from the forum a lot.

I helped tweak on the car when Phil owned it. That thing was indeed sweet!
