Car Won't Start! Ignition stays on after key is turned off.
What could be causing this problem? The car is turning over, but won't start. We had it running last night for a good 5 minutes. Now it won't fire up. We've replaced the crank sensor, coolant temp. sensor, coil pack, ECU, ignitor, etc. With known working parts. Any ideas?
Thanks
Thanks

Actually Nick You Sir are WRONG...
I had a fusable link go out on the ground and it would crank very well... However it would not start. I know what I am talking about on this one.

That's funny...because when I unplug the fusable link in the engine compartment fusebox nothing happens...smh0101 wrote:Actually Nick You Sir are WRONG...

I don't know what "ground fusable link" you are talking about...
The generally assumed one is the 100 amp link that fuses all of the positive power running to everything in the car...
So no, I'm not wrong, you just didn't specify what you are talking about...
Trust me kid...I've been at this game for quite a while

Well let me practice my curtsey...
There should be a fusable link on the ground from the ecu. That is what went out.
Ergo, it would crank beautifully, but not start.
