While cruising a wrecking yard for the various interiior parts that were stolen from my 92 Legacy Turbo, I stumbled across a 98 Legacy Outback with dark gray leather interior.
As is typicalwith wrecking yards, they just stacked greasy axles and various junk parts all over the seats and left everything exposed to the elements all winter. I got the two front heated leather seats and the back seat for $75. There are a few tears and abrasions, but I have a plan....I also found a 98 Legacy LSi with a leather back seat in perfect condition exceptthat it was folded down and mildewed a bit from being exposed to the weather. The LSi leather is a lighter gray with a touch of mauve or lavender. I hope to dye the LSi rear seat and then have the Outback rear seat as a source of leather for replacing the panels with tears. I was absolutely delighed to discover that the 98 LSi back seat appears to appears be a 100% direct bolt-in to my 92 Legacy. The Outback seats have the word "Outback" embossed in the seatbacks, but I think I can get them real wet and massage that out. There are a few puckers where heavy and pointy objects sat on the wet seats for a while, but I think I can shrink those out too. My objective is to convert my 92 Legacy Turbo to leather interior for a total investment of $400. The only direct bolt-in leather interior I have ever known of was at a wrecking yard and they wanted $800, then the owner decided to keep it for his own Legacy Turbo. I'll keep you all posted.

Leather seats
If you can find a wreck, which will be difficult... there was one model of
BC-BF Legacy that had leather seats. It came in both sedan and wagon, and
was badged as "GT-S2" (usually auto trans on the wagon, and almost always
auto trans on the sedan)
If you are not aware, the standard GT interior has different styling from
the standard RS, ...but the leather used on the GT-S2 is a suede type, which
may actually be a synthetic rather than a true leather. The GT-S2 was the
fore runner to the later BD/BG model GT-B Spec / GT-B, and had BBS alloys,
KYB shocks, and all the interior fruit such as electric mod-cons.... but
with the standard 200hp EJ20.
I have a pic of a GT-S2 wagon if you really want it, ...but only of the
exterior and a close-up of the rear badgae

Any Legacy or Impreza seat will bolt in. I have '98 Impreza RS seats in my

Leather seats
Nope, i'm in the USA. I'm only sure about the front seats..
Logic goes like this:
Seats from a '98 Impreza sold to owner of a '98 Legacy GT; fit perfectly.
I bought the seats from the owner of the Legacy for $25; fit very nearly
perfectly (no bracket for the belts, and had to use my old seat belt
buckles).
soooooo... If you see any Legacy's ('99 or older) or Impreza's ('01 or
lower) that are selling their FRONT seats, they'll bolt right in. Again, not
positive about the back seats. Imprezas over here don't have the 60/40
folding rear seats like the Legacy's do so far as i know.
