Hi, Thanks for reading this and please help thealignment problem of
my car!
I has a 92 Subaru Legacy turbo 4wd, I now using
195-60-15 size tires and I would like to put a new set
of tires this summer. But there are some problems, I
would like to put on 205-55-15 tires for the summer
and put the 195-60-15 at the winter. My winter tires
were used for 2 winter and it has little wore already.
If I use the 205-55-15 tires for set the alignment,
will it affect the winter tire alignment since the
winter tires is thinner and thicker then the summertires???
Thanks for you helpful answer.

Your alignment shouldn't change much, if any, with those summer
tires. The wider 205s will be a bit more sensitive since they are
wider, but the height should be really close to the same.

Thanks Dave, thanks for your fast reply!
So that means I will not have any problem if I use 205-55-15 for the
summer and don't have to re-do the alignment when I use 195-60-15 in
winter?
How about I put the ALK kit ??? will it affect the alignment?? I
don't want the tires gone that fast, no more money for tires... poor
me!!

I'm still not as familiar with the Anti-Lift Kit as i should be, but if
youre going to get it, get an alignment after, rather than before,
you install it.
Again, a 195-60 and 205-55 should be close enough in height
that your alignment shouldn't need a change.

Not really "supposed to." But its good if you do. i think once a year is
good. Some people think once ever 2 years is fine if the climate that you're
in stays the same almost all year round (California =). It depends on how
much you beat the crap out of your car, the terrain that you drive on, and
the condition that the car is in. I'm sure a car with brand new bushings all
around will keep it's alignment better then a car with 11 year old bushing
will..

Alignment Questions, please help!!
Jay-at our dealership, we recommend a 4-wheel alignment every 30k miles unless: you get new tires, replace struts and/or springs or replace all front/rear suspension bushings. Also, if you have a habit of banging into curbs & such, more frequent alignments may be needed. Hope this helps-Az. ROD
