Stupid new guy question

Im new here and i was wondering what the difference is between the turbo 2.2 and the turbo 2.0 was it just different years,models, or what

the EJ22T is a US only motor...and basically the only 2.2 turbo that Subaru made (with the exception of the 22B engine, but very few were produced).

EJ20G is the engine for the Legacy RS, Early WRX, etc.

No cars in the US came with EJ20Gs...the only 2 liter turbo cars sold in the US were the 02-05 WRX, which had the EJ205.

weird! so your saying that between 92-94 there were no 2.0 turbo legacys?? cause for some reason i had the misconception that they where mostly 2.0L w/the turbo but thats why im a stupid new guy lol!!

All non-US Turbo Legacys (Legacy RS) were 2 liter turbo...but nothing that was sold here or in Canadia
