Hi Mark. What city do you live in? Work in? There's a couple of Subaru
dealers in Orange County and some pretty good independent Sube specialists.
There is also
a dealer a little north of Orange County in Long Beach. Personally I'd go
with the independents for most work unless I thought there was some kind of
advantage at the dealer, like for me, around the corner from work.
When you say Frank's Subaru in Orange do you really mean in Irvine/Lake
Forrest?
I don't think there's a Sube dealer in Orange. Other than Irvine/Lake
Forrest, there's one in Fullerton, and another one in Huntington Beach.
Check out this website for Independent Service Repair (ISR) in Huntington
Beach. They deal MRT and Cobb Tuning components, and are performance
oriented, unlike most dealers. I have been eyeing them for a while, but have
not had the opportunity to do biz with them. If you check them out please
let me know your impressions.

Subaru mech for Mark
Hi,
Actually, I live in Vancouver and I use OK Tire center for most of my work. I have used my local Subaru dealer twice and dont feel that the mechanics working there were to bright...(they did detail my race car nicely...)
I have found independents to be better for most of my cars. The exception is my Nissan, the local dealer was the best for service and best pricing! The mechanics were a bunch of car nuts who loved Nissans.
