I'd suggest starting a new thread and/or searching in the respective forums, since your question involves exhaust and intercooling, rather then engine related items.

Just a quick answer though, the wrx exhaust requires lengthening to fit.

As for plumbing a TMIC, there's different kinds, and some are harder then others to install.

You are trying to customize parts to fit on a car that did not have them. Take the damn car apart, take your intercooler and exhaust when you get them, and try to put them on. When they dont work, figure out exactly why, then cut them up and bend them and CUSTOMIZE your car.
A year ago, I was afraid to touch my car without the go ahead from someone, then I finally just got my hands dirty and put on an STI exhaust, a TD04 and a TMIC. It took me a day to look at it, and a day to run around town to get all the shit I needed to make it work.

Agreed with Arctic Assasin. Just jump right in, if you have problems or some questions, then most people will happily help you out, but its surprisingly fun to give it a try yourself.

As far as your exhaust is concerned, I think with the wrx exhaust you could just take it to a exhaust shop, and they will be able to lengthen it a little bit to fit for a cheap price.

And if you wait a few weeks, Ill be doing TMIC install, and I will be sure to have a very detailed write-up if you want a guide.

I apologize for my tone, however it was provoked by a previous conversation over PM with Watts.
