You need the front A-arms from a GC WRX.

Subaruparts.com has those under the GC Impreza heading.

The lateral links and trailing arms are the same amongst all the Imprezas and our Legacies, so they will fit fine. You will have to change swaybar mounting styles.

I have the GC control arms in my wagon. The front bushing is a little wide, but a grinder or dremel fixes it.

WRX sedan links are longer and STi links (also longer) have different endlink mounting points and different swaybars.

Are the sedan links longer?

I was under the impression they were the same length. I know the front CV axles are longer because the wider track, but the rears were the exact same length as my SS ones, indicating it was the same width in the rear. I guess it is close enough to not matter, though.

It looks like the WRX wagon has exactly a 1" narrower rear track than the WRX sedan. That means that the Legacy sedan is exactly 1" narrower in the rear than the WRX sedans.

I just stick to GC Impreza parts so I don't have to figure these things out. If you get most any aftermarket set of lateral links, they will have adjustable length so you can fit them on a GC or a GD.

So it is confirmed that the trailing arms are the same?

Will 02-05 STi trailing arms work?

Thanks

I haven't had a chance to mess with an STi, but I believe all the trailing arms are the same. It's the lateral links that are different.

Yes.

Is there any reason to buy them?

No not really.

Group N or poly rear trailing link bushings would be much more cost effective.

They're adjustable, but I don't really see any reason for adjustability there.

You don't think they have any more positves to them than just being adjustable?

They look to be a lot beefier than stock, and IMO, the pillowball mounts are a lot stronger than the stock setup.

I've never heard of the stock links being too weak. All they do is add weight (half of which is unsprung) and unnecessary complexity.

Yeah... I think Jamal hit it pretty much on the nose...I don't see why you would need any adjustment on those arms...and weight is the last thing you need...

I have never seen one fracture or bend unless it hit another object.

Are they "free" scholarship stuff. If so, I'd rock them.

If I had ONE piece of suspension mod I'd like to add right now - I'd spend for these ball joint extenders.

http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop/wh ... -3203.html

The chance to minimize understeer is a huge mod and if it works as advertised it's truely a big step forward.

These are NEW - came out late last year. Get both if you will but if one or the other consider these?

Cheers,
AW

Nothing except the huge thread on Nasioc about them (which I've only skimmed)...

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... ?t=1155654

But I haven't really searched. Someone needs to get a set and review these!

Devan, you are sponsored,...care to be the first?

Harman Motive is offering them to Nasioc for this plus shipping...

"Whiteline Front Roll-Center Adjustment Kit
$162.95 - #KCA313"

http://www.harmanmotive.com/catalog/pro ... ts_id=1633

P.S. I don't work for Harman or Whiteline <grin>

Guys, here's the start of a reviews thread on Nasoic...

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... +Extenders

Devan, here's the Whitlenine installation .pdf You can decide if they'll fit.

Yes, the KCA313 is listed for a wide range of Subaru MY's and models (not the BC but calls out the GC) so the proof is in the install.

Can anyone else look this over and weight in? Front end experts in the house???
