92 GX Air suspension info

I want to find out how the air suspension works. I have downloaded an online manual for a 92 Legacy, but of course the pages describing the air suspension have been left out! (Section 4 M3, C2, X, T2,3,4,7)
Does anyone know of a description online or has the missing pages?

Instead of what everyone is doing everywhere, I want to try to retain the original air suspension as I think it is a great system. My car is a very original low mileage 92 GX station auto A/C.
My car has a slight leak at the front: it will sag in two days or so.
The former owner had gone to great expenses just before he sold it to me by having its rear air suspension replaced last year.

Any tips?

I hate that pos system, why do you like it and what are you using your car for?

Why?

Because it has the possibility of a bigger ride height, which is useful with packs of snow;
Because it self levels when having a heavy load;
Because it seems to have a smoother ride,
Because the back does not drop when towing a heavy something
Because I would like to keep my Legacy original with all its quirky things working;
Because the rear springs/dampers have been replaced already which should be good for another fifteen years;
Because the switch on the dash would have no meaning if it would have other springs;
Because it has functioned good for fifteen years;
Because Subaru designed it and I want to investigate it a bit;
Because I will probably have the only Legacy left with that suspension;
Because I had a Citroen CX before and really loved that suspension, this Sub reminds me a bit of it;

Dion, welcome to the BBS :). Don't read too much into Artic's comments, he can be pretty straight forward and I'm sure he didn't mean any offense.

As far as answering your original question, I don't believe there is much (if at all) aftermarket support for this system. My guess is you will need to go to the dealership and have them order you a new bag. If it drops after a couple days I'd think it's only your bag. If the rears were replaced and have been properly working then your air compressor and plumbing should be good.

I hate to say it, but I know this has been discussed some in the past by others wanting to keep the air suspension. A search may turn up some more information until some others more knowledgeable than myself can chime in. I know Josh, Legacy777, has scanned lost of FMS's pages but don't know if he has your missing sections or not. It is my "modern" car.
As a backup for the other cars, for getting stuff from the DIY, as a tow car for the caravan, as a tow car for trailers with cars, as a winter vehicle, as the car for going the Alpes for skiing holidays, for transporting a new bicycle (yesterday), for getting kids to the football or hockey, etc...

Thanks. I've been here before and got some help, asking things about the heater / AC system. The leaking heater matrix on my car has been replaced since, without having to disturb the AC system.
The thing is that the Sub behaves just too good to be in touch much in forums. Sorry...

I have been searching this forum for at least one hour, but could not find really similar cases.
I can understand there is no aftermarket support. The rear susp units have been ordered new from a Subaru dealer too.
But the tip of buying new parts fresh from a dealership is not what I am looking for. What I hope to find on a forum like this is tips and hints from users who have experienced the same fault. Maybe I have to read and search more!
Josh does not seem to have the missing pages. His site does contain some good information though, thanks for pointing me there.

I can absolutely understand why you would want the system, providing the cars position. My friend has his crazy modded speed freak wrx, and then hes got a bone stock 96 3000gt, that everything on it works.
For my extra height, I use STI takeoffs with forester springs.
Kickin' it old-school.
