Well, I went into the shop just yesterday..
and guess what, the custom motorcycle stuff is almost in paint, it's going to be sent off for fitment before the tribal airbrush work is going on. and guess what..
the scoop is soon for front burner and is going to get some attention while the fuel/oil tanks and fenders are out!
Things aren't as fast paced as a full time shop, it's only one person and he works 8 hour days, then does his shop work.
The sheer amount of responses will definitely put the scoop on front burner! He is going to pick up the mold making materials here pretty soon and wouldnt take payment until he's got the molds done.
So please be patient guys, things are rolling.

the weather's been so bad lately, he's not been down at his shop much... *ice/snow/ice/rain/ice...* a really crappy pattern. I'll let you guys know when there's an update!

Well, once the mold is made, it's just a matter of what material you lay in it..
I'm sure he can do carbon fiber, so It couldn't hurt to ask. ^^
And to everyone watching this thread, please be patient, all his shop work is after his 40 hour/week job... It'll be so worth it in the end result!

Well, I'm paying for the molds... cause I wanted a scoop..GeneralDisorder wrote:I'm definately in for one.
He'll be making quite a few of these at that price I'm thinking. Seems very reasonable, considering.

Indeed. That's mighty nice of you. Perhaps if enough people want these he will be tempted to give you a discount on other items of a "custom" nature. Some '94 GT-like skirts would be cool. Not as easy to ship though.Legacy Rally Guy wrote:Well, I'm paying for the molds... cause I wanted a scoop..So the R&D came out of my pocket... yeah, that's the plan... If we can get him interested in not only making smaller things out of fiberglass and show some good results and interest for earlier model legacies, we may have something!GeneralDisorder wrote:Indeed. things slowed a bit there for a while, with me going to school, but I'm now done, hehe I've ordered a few more materials for the mold and plug finishing!
I've almost finished my subaru build, so I'm nearly waiting on the scoop!
Better late, than never!
Glad to see so many people interested and my buddy said, he's going to pop out like ten of em the first run, and depending on the repsonse, build and ship more as ordered!
