Hi everybody. Been a while since I had any problems with my Subaru, till about 2 months ago that is.
I was having the rough idle/complete loss of power symptoms described in some of the other throttle body posts. So I went ahead and bought a new throttle body from Subaru. There wasn't one available in the US, so I waited patiently for my part to arrive from Japan. It came today, and I was a little surprised to see that there was no Throttle Position Sensor attached to the assembly. Is this right? I thought that the high price for this part (approx: $660) would be because it came with the TPS attached. Honestly, I cant believe how much I just spent on basically a butterfly valve!
So, did my part ship incomplete?
The part number on the box is: 16118AA801
