Spare Parts and Dynoing an AWD car

Post by Soulja1 »

Was just wondering if anyone has a rear right controller arm for a 92 legacy turbo sedan that they would like to sell to me. I managed to break mine :(

Second question is. I would really like to dyno my car so I can see how much HP I gain with each mod, but the only dyno in the city is a single only so it can’t run an AWD car on it. However in my legacy there is a small fuse slot inside my engine bay that is supposed to make the car FWD as long as the fuse is in there. My question is, is this just supposed to be for emergency purposes? If I run the car really hard on the dyno with the fuse in will something really bad happen? If anyone has any idea please let me know :)

I take it your car is an auto, since it has the fuse. If so, yes you
can put a fuse in there and it only sends power to the front wheels. It
won't hurt it. You're overall HP to the wheels will be a little less
when in AWD because of more transmission and driveline to go through,
but should give you a good baseline to compare mods.
