Help!!!! Desperate to find 440cc subaru injector -EJ20 turbo

Hello, I have a 91 legacy turbo sport (US spec) with an engine from a
(i am pretty sure) 94 jspec impreza wrx-ra (i think its from a wrx
ra, but as it didn't come with the IC, i don't know, it could be a
leg. turbo or impreza, but its closed deck, which I thought was only
offered on 94's in either the wrx-ra or the stis) anyway, my #1
cylinder fuel injector won't shut all the way, letting the fuel
press. bleed out when stopped, and flooding the cylinder, as well as
causing rough idle. I believe this is a 440cc injector. Does anyone
know where I can find a subaru 440cc injector? Or some other set of
injectors that will work that i can find in the US? Or have any
ideas as to how I can pin down the source of this engine?

Have you thought of having them rebuilt.

Contact Tim Marren at www.injector.com They blue print and rebuild the injectors, new seals and stuff. Shoot him an email or call, and I'm sure he could give you a hand. Turn around is good, I think less then a week.

I'm going to be sending mine off shortly.

Micum-just today I talked to Wayne @ RC Engineering in L.A.; for those of you that are interested, the NA 2.2 & later 2.5 engines run a 275cc flow @ 43 lbs. psi. The turbo 2.2 injectors flow 380 cc at about the same pressure. They can blueprint your injectors for about $24 ea.-that may be all you need as opposed to replacing them. They`re doing mine on Thurs. for install this Sat. on my new turbo motor. Their website is: www.rceng.com. You can get their phone no. from there & call; Wayne was extremely helpful.
