fiberglass body kits and stuff

Hi everyone..

Just an update really.

ok uhhmm..I'm gonna needa couple more days.. i'm still trying to get
the best parts prices and i'm still tring to call ABE
Fiberglass..i've called a couple times recently but there quite
busy!! they just a new order in from SEPTA (philli bus company)they
handle all SEPTA's fiberglass body work on all the busses...so i will
keep trying..

Parts prices.. ok other than going Straight to Subaru for all the
parts..thats all i'vebeen able to come up with..

someone on this list i was to understand IS or has close connections
to someone who is a parts guy at a dealership and was offering
discounts? If i remeber corectly? if so if i could get a hold of him
or her..that would help out alot..

Also someone on this list asked if there were any pitures or mockups
of what the blisters might look like.. i had put up a really old set
of pics i had done that were in all honesty not realistic in the
slightist..so ever since i've been sketching away at work and i threw
all those new more real drawings up in the photo folder..under
fiberglass..

i designed/drew up the blisters a realisticly as possiable, if i can
remeber correctly on the last discussion about the blisters is that
the fronts would be easy but the reaer wouldn't be able to be changes
because the rear corner panels on all models were part of the
body..the way did it solved that problem..but not by much..

More news as i get it...

Thanks David,

I'm "in" for a new hood when you find out. Let me know when and where to
mail the check.

If everything works out right (hoods look good, ship on time, arrive
unmolested at destinations, don't melt when the engine gets hot, other freak
disasters/acts of God, etc.) this will be a fantastic deal! w00t!

Can't wait to get rid of my crappy, dented, steel hood...
