Noise lifters on a 91 Turbo?

(If your lifters tick at low RPM, you are getting cavitated oil to the
lifters) I think you need to change the oil pump! I have the same
problem on my 92 Turbo! Good luck Dan

Do you have an EJ22T? Do these use hydraulic or solid lifters? I
have a 94 wrx engine, I'm almost positive it uses hydraulic lifters,
could anyone confirm this?

Yes the 1994 uses hydraulic lifters.
