Simple waterpump re-seal question

Post by Bosco »

While changing head gaskets, I pulled off my waterpump to inspect it.
So, what should I use to re-seal it? (Permatex ultra grey?).

It uses a thin metal gasket. You should get a new gasket.

Just wondering, which side of the gasket did the techs say to spray?
