'deck'. I've been told by my mechanic friend this as
well as a few others. I could be WAYYY off though.
I think the 2.2L turbo is probably the best turbo
engine that Subaru has imported. It's closed deck,
which AFAIK acts like a heat sink so you can increase
boost/internal temps and still be super reliable.
Someone correct me if I'm way off please. The H6 is a
much heavier engine, which adds a bunch of weight to
an area that really doesn't need any more.
I also had a few questions that you guys could
probably answer.
-What does the battery light on the dash indicate?
I'm assuming something about the battery and the power
level. I'll be reading my Haynes manual today, so I
may answer it myself, but I always value the opinions
on here much more.
-Before we do this exhaust GB, I want to do some tests
on my engine to make sure it's operating properly.
What test should I do or have done to check this?
Thanks a lot.
