speeds/times

Hey all,

For all you N/A legacy owners, have you ever done any time trials or
anything of that sort? I'd be interested in seeing what kind of
speeds you get, especially in the 0-60...

Josh, you especially, since you're running an auto which is what I
have.. and anyone else with an auto, as well..

Well I did some a long time ago, and some last winter I think. When I first did them they were around 9-10. I think last winter I think I got around 7-8 somewhere in that ballpark. I was usin the g-tech pro thingy last winter.....I don't remember the exact numbers though.

I have just purchased a G-Tech Pro and plan on doing a full evaluation of
quarter mile times and horsepower from my 90 2.2 N/A 5 speed AWD, stock and
then with each mod that I do. I woun't be able to do this untill this
spring though as we have an inch of ice on the roads for the next four
months. I know this doesn't help you Iain but it could be good for
comparison to other N/A's, autotrans, turbos, etc and it should be fun just
doing it. My car is a stock daily driver but this spring I am going to
build it up. This is a list of mods that I have sitting in my garage
waiting to be bolted in:

JC Sports Cold Air Intake
MSD DIS-2 Ignition
Unorthodox Ultra S Underdrive Pulley (in the mail, yehe)
Kartboy Short Shifter
8mm Magnecor Plug Wires
2.5RS Coil Pack
Venom Super Flow Fuel Injectors
NGK Iridium IX or Bosch Platinum Plugs
Weapon R Fuel Pressure Regulator (possibly)
Optima Yellow Top Battery
Change to all synthetics, new fluid, other minor mods, plus other goodies
that my right foot tells me I need to get and my checkbook allows be to buy.

This should be fun, I am itching to do it and I hope that I will be a good
reference for the N/A owners and to see how much of a difference/gain in HP
I can squeeze out of my Legacy. I will post all my findings as soon as I
get them.
