Well, I think I'd better ask before I start clipping wires.
I'm swapping a '97 LGT Trans Into a '94 Touring Wagon.
As far as the electrical stuff goes, can I Simply follow Josh's 5mt swap write-up as it is, or do I need to do something differently?
I figure there is likely to be a wiring difference somewhere, and I don't want to find out after I've messed it up already.
Thanks for any help.

It should be the same. The only difference will be you will need to pull the electronic speed sensor out, and put the manual speedo gear/cable in.

Okay great. Thankya.
so , by "manual speedo gear/cable" do you mean a speedometer cable from a 5mt car and the "recepticle" on the transmission it clips in to?
can I use the one from the auto transmission, or does the "recepticle" have to be from a 5mt too? (I probably should be beaten with the search stick for that one)
I assume I need a 5mt cruise computer from a 1st gen car, or can I actually use the one in the 97?

Don't repeat my "experiment" with the speedo cable.
