There is an access hole under the throttlebody that you can use to unbolt the torque convertor. Once the torque convertor is out, then you can unbolt the flexplate.

When you reinstall the motor, install the torque convertor on the tranmission before installing the motor. Trying to install it the way you took it out is asking for transmission seal damage. After the motor is in, then you can bolt the convertor to the flexplate through the access hole.

the torque convertor is that drum like thing pictured above? i see it connected to 4 places to this thin plate like behide it. are these the bolts are you talking about? the only access hole i see the with the rubber piece that tops off to access the tranny if it was all back in the car. i tried unloosing these bolts but they're not moving. the size wrench is different too

seems i'm looking at the right bolts but there hard to remove. i guess im taking it to a shop to remove. btw i think i may have damage the TC by moving it side to side and a few piece bent on the flex plate =(

-Solved- well i was able to get 2 of the 4 bolts but the other 2 are striped...lol ill have to take the engine to the shop this week and have them removed. im pretty sure the flex plate is bent and damage but for the TC i doubt it.
