Hey all,
I went to replace the rattling balljoints on my 91 AWD BC and the pinch bolts broke (big surprise).
So, I guess I need to buy some used steering knuckles. What years will fit a 91 Sedan?
Got a rallycross coming up in a little over a month, so I need to get the old girl going again.
Also, the PS rack decided to piss fluid everywhere, my guess is the hose went. Any downside to running the rack as a manual rack? (other than the effort, obviously)
Cheers!

I ran for a short time with a rack as manual. Just make sure you get all the fluid out unless you want to be able to enter muscleman competitions. Was acceptable effort without the fluid. Don't know if it hurt the rack since I replaced it soon after.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

Yeah, I'm going to force the rest of the fluid out with air.
Honestly, the rack only needs to last through the winter. The car has 200K on it now and the body is getting pretty far along. Next summer it'll be time to look for a new winter beater.
Anyone know about steering swivels? Will 92-94 Legacy steering swivels work? How about 94-99?
