Radiator/Turbo Coolant Tank

My coolant tank on my 91 Turbo has been broken for quite some
time now and I knew that JCSport had that awesome aluminum
replacement. Well, as most of us know, JCSport is no longer
around. ( Well, my question is, where would I be able to get
this part? I can get the oem part for $100 but I think it would be
better to invest into a more durable model. Any help would be
great!

I got one from JC, but, yeah, they're no longer much to speak of.

I know Al has some connections in the Colorado area, and might know
someone who could make one up. I also think SubySports might be able
to fabricate something like that for you as well.

I contacted the person that made the tanks for JCSports and he is
going to take a look and see if he has any left or has the pieces to
make one. It is probably worth the wait because that tank is a chronic
problem with the turbo Legacy. You know that when you walk into a
parts dept. and say "I need a Ta.." and they reach under the counter
and grab one.

He has two tanks left, we are not set up for retail sales but if you
e-mail me we can work somthing out they are $129.00 ea and come with
no cap. A large radiator cap is all that is needed.

Does those tank fits to Japan Spec. EJ20T engine?

No these tanks are for the US EJ22t only I believe that MRT has a
EJ20t tank.
