AIR SUSPENSION QUESTION

Post by Aerotech »

I should NOT be asking this, but I'm curious

Has anyone hacked the air suspension system on the Legacy so that it can be controlled manually? ie lowered or raised via a switch?

I shouldn't be doing this either, BUT.....

The SVX guys have had success hacking the ECU, trans ECU and even venturing into the A/C ECU. I'll bet thier research can be used to gain fast access to the suspension ECU.

Other than that, if the height sensors are external to the struts, then it's easy to modify a linkage or bracket to modify the "neutral" position.

If they are internal, then you might be able to use a variable resistor inline with the lead to "dial in" a ride height.
