Exhaust Group Buy candidates contradict themselves

Hi Troops,

Just wanted to point out it seems some potential exhaust group buy members have indicated a preference for an MRT type, single tube dump style, over the dual style that keeps the wastegate gasses separate till further downstream.

All MRT Subaru turbo exhausts use the dual style, not the single tube dump style. It's just not so apparent unless you know what to look for because the cat must remain in the original position to meet Aussie Design Rules so the design feature is not too distinct. There is an internal splitter that keeps the wastegate gasses separated till 150 mm further down the pipe where it joins the main flow moving in the same direction rather than at right angles like the stock system. On the rally car where no cat is needed the racing style is used, and the two pipes are kept separated almost 500 mm, making it is very easy to see how the two pipes are siamesed till further downstream. I don't think they would go to this additional trouble if there were not noticeable advantages.
