It's time for me to install more gauges -- ok, just a wideband for now. I think the best placement for the the Innovate XD16 is in the center console area, below the radio. I've seen a lot of pictures of people having their gauges mounted in plastic places.
Where does one acquire those flat pieces of plastic? Are they curved so it screws into the center metal area or something else?

You might consider moving the radio to the bottom, it makes the gauge easier to read when it’s up top. My mount plate is just a sheet metal plate panted black, it mounts to the same screws that mount the radio bracket. Once you get the trim off you will see you have some simple options. In the future I plan on building a better mount that will add another gauge and angle them toward the driver. This works pretty good for now… unless you are using the cup holder.
