Torque converter switch

Post by Tommio RS »

Hi ya'll! After reading this thread, http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic. ... sc&start=0

Im in the mood to figure out a nice TC switch. Im not a car electrical guru but i know some stuff. My main questions are:

1. How simple could this be?
2. Has some one done this?
3. I want to do this to have lock whenever i want! I know when and when not to use it!

Thanks!

Hi,
what they started out suggesting, ie, imitating a wot situation to the ecu by feeding oy one volt, doesn't work.

Where they ended up with that discussion, ie, installing a wire into an empty pin on the ecu where a power switch would have been, if you were in the right market... that does work, if you have the right model of ecu, which is dependent which market you are in.
