How-d all. This is my first time here and I must say it is a nice
site for those of us with older Legacies. Very good job with all the
info.
I have a set of Whiteline Rear Swaybar endlinks KLC19, which DO NOT
fit my '90 2WD Wagon but should fit '91 and up Sedan and Wagon from my
understanding. I can't return them to where I bought them, so I am
giving them to someone who needs them for the cost of shipping. These
aren't the prettiest links, but I installed the front ones and like
them. So if anyone is interested (They normally go for about $60.00
to 70.00)

I was checking out my endlinks and the rubber is gone from the passenger rear. I will take you up on offer if they are still available.

Alex,
I don't think they will fit. The rear endlinks changed style in 95 I believe. The older style for 90-94, the drop-link goes from the sway bar and into the rear lower lateral link. The newer style, the endlink hooks onto the rear lateral link instead.
Not sure if that makes any sense, but I do know they are different....and you can change to the newer style fairly easily.

Josh-When you say you can change to the newer style fairly easy, what do you
mean? I would swap out the old parts for the new style if I could without
spending a fortune. I also had though of trying to find urethane bushings
to replace the old worn out rubber ones? At least that would help.

Do the rear endlinks that you have look like this?
http://home.att.net/~d_teague/Performan ... inks1a.jpg
If so they will only work on the newer style subarus.
What I'm talkin about is swappin to something like this for the rear
lower control arm.
http://home.att.net/~boxer4racing/Perfo ... ontrol.jpg
They are adjustable. You can pickup a set from the junkyard of a late
model subie......for around the same. You would need a new rear swap
bar I believe, but you could run any of the stuff for the newer subies
then.
I wouldn't waste your money on polyurathane bushings for the sway bar.
The first gen legacy's chassis is not the stiffest in the world, so
you'd only see marginal improvements if any. Plus you have a chance
then of squeal from the bushings.
How much would you want to spend to do some swapping of parts......guess
I should try and clear things up.....because your version and mine may
be different.
