Audi 5000 Intercooler

Anyone know whether an Audi 5000 intercooler will fit in my Sport
sedan? If it does, would it put out enough performance to be
worthwhile?

Hey Mark I don't know where you intend installing the cooler, but if you plan on a top mount overseas type stock location, take the unit and compare it with a WRX installation, that might give you an idea of the relative size that you can probably shoehorn into the room you have.

Before you do that be aware that at Sport Sedan stock low boost levels it will not increase performance perceptively. Our stock boost is so low, the air is not compressed enough to heat appreciably above ambient. We have nothing to cool, so there was no reason for the factory to waste money providing a chiller for the handfull of crazies like Billy the Kid Robinson that would come along and pump up the boost.
