Hope you guys can help me out. Does anybody have a clutch alignment tool
for the 2.2 NA laying around that I could either borrow or have? I am
replacing my clutch in a couple of days and have everything but the
alignment tool. I have called all over and the parts stores aren't listing
them for our cars and the local Subie dealer doesn't have one either. I can
order one online but figured I could check here frist. If you do, email me
off-list. Thanks, john k

I just made my own out of a round piece of wood and got tape and
built up to match the size and shape of the input shaft. My dad
wondered what it was a threw it out, then realise after what it must
have been. So have to make another soon.

Of course you could go to a gearbox reco or wrecker and pick up a
screwed input shaft and cut it off and use the end of that.

I bought mine were I bought my clutch. If you did’nt get from a place that only deals in clutchs then go to one and they should have one of could get one. It cost me $8 AUD, so $4 over there. Its only plastic and should last the average person a life time. I said no at first as I had access to a lath (spelling?) but when I heard the price I bought it. You could’nt purchase the steel to make one that cheap, well you could.
