MRT muffler

Post by Josh Colombo »

I need to replace the muffler on my legacy......it's rusted out to all hell. I don't want OEM, and don't want something loud or obnoxious at highway speeds. Something with a little extra noise at full throttle....

I was lookin at a generic option or what not, just have a shop weld something up.......however I can't seem to find something I like.

A friend has an MRT muffler on his WRX, and it fits this bill....my wants pretty well the same. He likes it.

He has this one http://www.mrtrally.com.au/shop/images/ ... E031BS.jpg

I don't really care about SS. I do want twin exhaust outlets though.

Any chance this one will fit my car, and be available in twin tips?

Suits 96 - 99 liberty / Legacy with 2500 cc engine Great upgrade when little other parts are available! Available as just the rear muffler or as an entire kit. (see sulne230) Mandrel bent pipe with alloy coating and painted black. Muffler fits on factory mounting points and bolts up at the OE flange beside the rear differential. Noticeable change in exhaust note, not loud, but different. NOTE 3 inch stainless outlet (shown) EXTRA, part normally supplied with 2 1/2 inch chrome outlet. PLEASE specify tip choice with your order.
Code: SUL99E231

Brett, anything out there for the first gen legacies?

Thanks
